Whatsapp is launching an app for its own Snapchat subsidiary, Aam, that lets you use the app as a virtual assistant and cuddle buddy app, according to a report by TechCrunch.
The app is called ‘Aam’ and will allow users to interact with the Snapchat team by using a virtual keyboard that has been specially designed for the app.
The feature is similar to Snapchat’s popular ‘Chats’ feature which lets users send a text message with a video of the person texting to a group of people.
Snapchat has been building a suite of tools that allows users to use its service without leaving the app and the Aam app will help with that, the report added.
The new app comes amid growing interest in Aam’s app from other tech companies.
The app recently landed on the Play Store as an ‘official’ Snapchat app, which means the app is compatible with iOS 10.
SnapChat is one of the most popular social networking apps in the world and is also used by celebrities, including Beyoncé, Mark Zuckerberg, and Bill Gates.
It is one the most sought after apps for Snapchatters, which is also why it has been able to build a suite to allow for its users to be more productive in their day to day life.
Aam is also the first app to allow its users access to a private video chat channel, which has been used by Snapchat’s more popular video chat feature, ‘Channels’.
